Ravi Uppal

Chairman & Managing Director

An eminent business leader, Mr. Uppal has combined erudition, experience and enterprise to build winning organisations in the engineering and infrastructure space over 36 years around the world. At SISCOL, he has an overriding mission: to ensure excellence across markets. Before founding SISCOL, he served as Managing Director & Group CEO of Jindal Steel & Power Limited and Chief Executive Director (Power) and Whole-Time Director, L&T. In the ABB Group, he served as President of Global Market, Member of Group Executive Committee, President, Asia Pacific Region and Chairman & Managing Director, India. He was also the Founding Managing Director of Volvo India.

Mr. Uppal is a decorated leader. Among his glittering laurels are Knight of the Royal Order of the Polar Star awarded by the King of Sweden in recognition of his invaluable services to the Kingdom of Sweden; Distinguished Alumni, IIT, Delhi; the Marketing Award of the Institute of Marketing Management, India and the `India’s Best of the Best’ title awarded by the Smart Manager magazine. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the IIT, Delhi. He is also an alumnus of the Indian IIM, Ahmedabad and the Wharton Business School, USA. Mr. Uppal is actively involved in several industry forums & academic institutions and has a keen interest in social and community development initiatives.

K Rajagopal

Director (Finance)

A strategist and policy-maker, Kannabiran Mr. Rajagopal was Group Chief Financial Officer and Whole-Time Director at Jindal Steel & Power Limited, before joining SISCOL. He was also the Chief Financial Officer at ABB India.

Mr. Rajagopal’s rich repertoire includes stints as Regional Chief Financial Officer (South Asia) the ABB Group, Chief Financial Officer and Whole-Time Director, ABB Switzerland and Group Chief Accountant for the ABB Group Worldwide at Zurich, Switzerland.

Mr. Rajagopal comes with over 35 years of experience in finance, most of it at ABB where he started out in February 1991 as a Business Unit Finance Controller and went on to serve as Divisional Finance Controller and Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for the Finance, Accounts, Secretarial, Legal, IT, Real Estate and Administrative functions. He was also in the thick of several ABB M&As and Divestments in India and abroad.

Through his career, Mr. Rajagopal has sought to improve profitability through strategic and highly efficient business portfolio evaluation and system enhancements. A commerce graduate, Mr. Rajagopal is also a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Ranjan Sharma

Director

With over 45 years of experience in the Indian corporate sector, Mr Ranjan Sharma brings a diverse set of skills to the table. He holds qualifications as a Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary besides being a law graduate. He worked with traditional Indian business houses (Shriram Fertilisers/DCM group during 1978-82, Oswal Chemicals & Fertilizers during 1987-2005) as well as multinational companies (Molins of India Ltd, a BAT/Molins UK subsidiary during 1982-87). His major accomplishments include implementation of mega sized fertilizer projects with investments exceeding USD 1 billion, putting together management teams and financial structures and setting up systems for smooth running of these businesses. He concluded more than a dozen international collaborations during his career. After being an entrepreneur since 2006, Mr Sharma received acclaim for his unique venture in rural telephony, providing value added services to Indian farmers through mobile phones across the country in collaboration with the fertilizer giant IFFCO. Utilising the same platform, he also co-founded an NBFC in 2018, aimed at enhancing financial inclusion among the farming community and small businesses across rural India and small towns.

Aman Choudhari

Director

Aman Choudhari is Managing Director at the Surin group flagship Surin Automotive (P) Ltd, (SAPL). After completing his Mechanical Engineering from the Bangalore University and his post-graduation in Industrial Engineering from USA, he joined his family-run Surin Group of companies. Under his stewardship his company has grown from Rs 11 crores in 2003 to Rs 1030 Crores. Mr. Aman Choudhari was Chairman of CII Karnataka, 2019-20. He is now an elected member of CII southern Region Council.

Zarksis J Parabia

Director

As a qualified D.M.E, Mr. Zarksis J Parabia specialises in transportation of super heavy equipment, material management and erection of power transformers across India. He has around 20 years of industry experience

Siddharth Shah

Director

An engineer with an MBA degree in Finance, Mr. Siddharth Shah is an expert in Investment Management. He has over 10 years of experience in investment profiles at MK Ventures, Reliance Capital, ICRA & Kotak Securities, etc.

Rajesh Laddha

Director

A Chartered Accountant and an MBA from the University of Chicago (USA), Mr Ladha brings over 25 years of business leadership experience to the distinguished SISCOL board. Until recently he was Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer at the Piramal Group. Until recently he was CEO at Shriram Capital, a company held by the Shriram Group with a combined AUM of Rs 1.5 lakh crores. Prior to joining the Piramal Group, he played leadership roles in Coca Cola India, Vodafone India Limited and Allergan India Private Limited.

YS Reddy

Director

Mr. YS REDDY serves as Director Operations at Steel Infra Solutions Pvt Limited. Having 25 years of experience in Heavy fabrication industries in India & Singapore: Hetat, Singapore; Kirby Building Systems and Tiger Steel, India. Mr. YS Reddy is an Mechanical Engineer by qualification and has completed the Master of Science in Project management from the University College Dublin (Singapore campus). He is expert in implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance through increase in productivity and efficiency. Strategic Operations Professional with keen business acumen in analysing and understanding business requirements for Revenue generation, Strategic Partnerships and customer-value maximization. Adapt in latest fabrication and operations techniques. Extensive exposure and experience of working with different industry verticals like commercial buildings, infrastructure, power, oil & gas, automobiles, heavy engineering and general engineering / EPC projects
