Underscoring its belief that a solid foundation in finance need not remain limited to the finance department, the HR department at SISCOL recently organized a comprehensive training program aimed at familiarizing executives in non-finance roles with essential financial concepts. The initiative was a part of the HR department’s vibrant L&D program and was aimed at spreading financial literacy across all functions.
The program covered crucial topics such as managing EBIDTA, Gross Profit, and EBT. With the conviction that a basic understanding of finance enhances the overall performance and effectiveness of every employee, SISCOL took this significant step to equip its non-finance executives with necessary knowledge and skills. The training program was designed to demystify finance jargon and provide practical insights that can be applied in day-to-day decision-making processes.
The trainers facilitated discussions and shared examples to enable participants to grasp the intricacies of these finance concepts and enable them to employ the knowledge to their everyday functioning.
