SISCOL Powers the Expansion of Delhi International Airport Terminal 1 with 15,000 MT of Structural Steel

SISCOL takes immense pride in its contribution to the Delhi International Airport Terminal 1 Expansion Project, where we supplied and facilitated the erection of 15,000 metric tons of structural steel.

Inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on March 10, 2024, the revamped terminal spans 206,950 square meters, effectively doubling its passenger handling capacity from 20 to 40 million annually. Designed to elevate air travel in the capital, Terminal 1 now features 100 check-in counters, 36 self-baggage drop kiosks, a 6,000 bags-per-hour baggage handling system, and 22 passenger boarding bridges.
